Description
This course is an introduction to fundamental laboratory techniques of chemistry. Experiments include tritration, visible spectroscopy, inorganic synthesis and chemical analysis. The course also emphasizes communicating science through weekly graded laboratory reports and the preparation and oral presentation of a scientific paper. (Not open to students who have completed CHM 1000 or CHM 2003. Students who plan to major in Biological Sciences are advised to take CHM 2003.)
